A good scrub with dish soap and vinegar! Also set in the sun for a bit helps too.

Mold in wood is hard to reach and clean. Naomie suggestion is what I would say also. Good Luck!
If vinegar doesn't work, I would use very fine steel wool and essentially sand this spot.
I would definitely use steel wool and get as much as I could off, then use vinegar, you could even soak the leg in it. Leave it in a sunny spot to dry completely. Once it is gone you could put a coat of clear on it to help keep it from coming back.
Maybe vinegar and a bit of peroxide. Soak, dry, sand gently and give it a touchup with a tinted stain the same color. Good luck
You could try a little javex diluted in warm water. This should kill the mold.
