Rust on white marble countertop

I have rust stains on my off-white marble countertop. I tried a CLR like product but it didn't work. Any advice will be appreciated.

Baking soda and a small amount of hydrogen peroxide, make a paste of it and put it on the rust stain, cover with plastic cling wrap and let set for 1-2 days. Remove the plastic wrap and then scrape off the dried on mixture with a plastic store card or a plastic putty knife.
