Outdoor Chair Makeover

I hope this post encourages you to try your own Outdoor Chair Makeover!
I’d been considering purchasing these chairs from IKEA for awhile (but in white). Although they are a pretty good price, purchasing several of them adds up!
So I looked for used chairs and ended up finding these green ones (4 of them plus a footstool) for a great price.
Here’s the BEFORE picture: They were pretty weathered and faded.


I recently learned about a product called ReColor by Rust-Oleum and tried it on another project; I loved how easy it was to use, and the results.
Here’s a PROGRESS picture: You can see where I have wiped and where I haven’t. It’s a big difference.


The chairs aren’t perfect, but the lovely color that was faded came back to life.
Here’s the AFTER picture: Now I have fun, colorful patio chairs!
