Make these adorable candy-filled Easter Egg Flowers with nothing more than plastic Easter eggs, pipe cleaners, felt, hot glue, and candy. Crafts
Easter may still be a few weeks away, but it's never too early to get started making your Easter baskets! The best part about this craft is that they are easy and inexpensive to make - and they look great in any type Easter basket!
To get started, make a flower-shaped stencil from an old manilla file folder. Trace one side of an open plastic egg to make the middle part of the flower. Next, place your stencil on a piece of felt, trace it, then cut it out. Make sure you cut out the middle part, too.
Next, create the "stem" of the flower using one of the green pipe cleaners. Most plastic eggs have 2 holes in the bottom half. Thread a pipe cleaner up through one of those holes and then back down through the other.
Now close the egg and twist the two ends together to make the stem. Closing the egg makes it easier to twist!
Now all that's left to do is glue on the "petals" and fill your Easter Egg Flower with candy!
