Patriotic Banner
For this Memorial Day and 4 of July I love to decorate with the traditional red, blue and white. But every year I create something new to make this celebrations pops in my home.
I used a pair of old jeans to create a patriotic banner. I also used some wooden letters to make the word USA.
I hang my banner in my entryway and put some flowers and a flag inside the jean pockets .
I used hot glue to put my pockets and the letters together in a jute twine to hang the banner.
First step is to cut the pockets from the jeans. Make to cut the whole pocket with the backing too.
I used some scrap pieces of fabric and heat and bond to draw the stars.
Press the heat and bond paper to the fabric, draw the star design and cut it, the remove the paper.
Using your regular iron press the heat and bond.
The heat and bond is a paper with one side glue that when you iron into the fabric it’s activate the glue and stick the fabric together.
