We created our heart guide using a parchment paper (this paper keeps the glue from sticking to it). Great trick to know about hearts & paper & getting the sides to be EVEN- Fold the paper in half & draw half the heart. Cut along the line & then unfold and the sides will be even.
You can do anything you want with the corks- We went for mixing up the colors, heights & designs on the cork. Tried also to get the winery names to face sides we could read (lots of great wines here!
We actually made our first wine heart a bit too large & went on to make another one a little smaller. By taking our original paper heart we just cut a little off and followed that one. The larger heart was more difficult to hold together & needed a lot more glue for support. The smaller heart felt stronger. Hearts
