While the paint dries, glue a series of three red buttons onto the front of the mason jar.
Print out the free printable Merry Christmas gift tags here for your snowman mason jar craft. (I printed mine onto cardstock.) Then use twine to the tie the gift tag onto the decorated mason jar.
Your DIY snowman mason jar is now ready for its new home! Everyone loves to receive food gifts. (Just be sure your recipient doesn't have food allergies.) I love gifting these not just to teachers, friends and family but to neighbors and coworkers as well!
Once the paint and the glue for the buttons have dried, fill the jar with white chocolate covered pretzels or any other gift of choice. Alternately, to use the jar as holiday home decor, simply fill it with mini Christmas ornaments or pinecones. Or even small seasonal holiday toys.
Then screw the lid onto the mason jar. Finally, tie a ribbon around the mason jar into a bow.
(You can easily make chocolate covered pretzels by melting baking chocolate in a double boiler. Then simply dip the pretzels one by one into chocolate and place onto parchment paper. Once hardened, they are ready to be packaged in an airtight container.)
