I’m sure I’m not the only one wracking my brains over the perfect Father’s day gift every year.. This year I hope to make it easier on you..
I used Pinstripe canvas as my base for that apron and a tissue paper pattern that I made. For the pattern dimensions visit my blog. (www.lilyardor.com) I then used my pattern to cut out denim pockets for the apron.
I aligned the pocket onto the apron and stitched those through.
I then cut my neck and waist ties out of denim.
I stitched them through face in and turned them inside out.. There is a super easy way to do this step. I've struggled for years before I caught onto this awesome technique. The secret is to use a ribbon to get the job done.
I then used a printable that I have created to cut out my tools out of faux leather. (free printable on my blog :D )
Following that I adhered the tools to the apron making sure they were as centered as possible and attached the neck and waist ties.

Well do you guys think?!! How do you like it in action?! icon
icon I am loving how it turned out...
Thanks for tuning in. For a more detailed tutorial you can visit my blog (www.lilyardor.com) or the link below.
