Shell Christmas Tree Ornaments

I made Christmas tree ornament using these shells. I love the different colors.
After feasting on these shells, my mother refused to throw them away. She soaked, cleaned and dried them until the smell was gone.
I drilled small hole on each of the clean and dried shells.
The shells with drilled holes. I wanted to drill holes on the tips of the shells but the drill slips and it was almost impossible.
I used craft acrylic paints - 2 to 3 coats.
Drying the paint
After the paint has dried, I threaded green nylon strings - for hanging. As you can see, the paint turned out matte.
I spray-painted each shell for a glossy look.
The finished shell ornaments - ready to be hung in our Christmas tree. I'll post a picture of this soon.
