Cheap and Easy Mesh Rope Wreath
Oh so prettyyyyy, all that shimmery colorrrr in a bag for less than two dollars!! I'll take two bags please, so I can have all six colors for my craft! What craft?? I had no clue of what to make with this mesh rope.... until today, I decided to make a quick wreath for Summer!
I grabbed a wire hanger from my back closet and shaped it into a circle, no need for it to be perfect because it will all get concealed. The hook part I rounded into a hanging loop.
You will need:
2 packages of mesh rope, wire cutters and thin wire or string scissors, glue gun and gluesticks and various accents like flowers, butterflies, buttons, etc.
I decided to make bows or flowers (you can decide what to name them) out of the rope and decorate the centers with the accents. Once I had the floral shape created I started wiring and glueing them in random order around the hanger frame.
I ran short on the accents that I started out with and then I remembered that I had some wooden ladybug shapes. They just needed some color, quickly I did this with my Sharpie paint markers. They were glued in place as the final accents to the wreath.
Last but not least is to hang the blossoming beauty in place on my front door. See colorrrr.....oh prettyyyyy, I fall for it every single time!😄 This is the view if I decide to hang it on the inside my front door.
This is the view if I decide to hang it on the outside of my front door, I haven't decided yet! Any and all opinions taken under advisement, but this was an off the top of my head project and I'm sure it's open to improvements! Thanks everyone!
