Spring Garland With Paper Flowers

Create the most beautiful paper flowers with the Sizzix cutting dies. These paper flowers can be used as embellishments for your homemade cards or scrapbook layouts, but they're also ideal for decorating 3D objects with, like this garland that will instantly bring spring into your home. Hand the fresh floral garland on a door, or surprise a loved one with this gorgeous handmade gift.

Step 1


Take a Styrofoam ring with a 25cm diameter. Stick the end of the jute ribbon to it.

Step 2


Wind the ribbon around the ring and stick the end down. Leave to dry thoroughly.

Step 3


Create various flowers using paper from the Florence Spring paper bloc and the Sizzix die cutter and cutting dies.

Step 4


Assemble flowers from various die-cut flower shapes in different colours. Create multiple layers and stick them together in the middle.

Step 5


Repeat step 4 with different shapes and colours.

Step 6


Repeat step 4 with different shapes and colours.

Step 7


Repeat step 4 with different shapes and colours.

Step 8


Stick the various flowers onto the garland. Stick on the larger ones first, followed by the smaller flowers in the spaces in between.

Step 9


Lastly, stick a variety of leaves in amongst the flowers.

Step 10


Attach a ribbon to the garland for hanging.

  • Aleene's glue original tacky 236ml
