What do an embroidery hoop, some leather scraps, clearance silk flowers, and leather scraps have in common? Why a fun Fall wreath!

Lay Out Your Wreath Before Gluing

I used a 10 inch embroidery wreath, some craft store clearance silk chrysanthemum bushes, feathers and leather scraps. I only used three of the blooms so have to think of something else to do w/ the rest.

Glue One Mum Bloom To Bottom Center of Hoop

Remove 3 blooms from the stems of the bushes and glue one to the bottom middle of the hoop. I lined mine up with the clasp at the top of the embroidery hoop.

Add Feathers

Remove feathers from package and select those that bend the same way. Glue three on either side of the mum as shown, leaving room for leaves and 2 other blooms to be added. Once glued in place, trim the stems of the feathers.

Cut Leather Leaves

I had a bag of leather scraps in my stash from a leather shop nice enough to give them to me. I've also seen bags of scraps at Michaels and JoAnn. Freehand cut or trace a leaf shape from leather and glue atop the ends of the feathers. Glue remaining Mum blooms on either side of middle Mum.

Leather "Bow"

To make this, I cut a small rectangle from another scrap, and glued some strips (also from my leather scraps) to the middle as shown. Bring each end of the rectangle back up over the scraps, glue down.

Your Finished Hoop

I made this for my Fall decor but may just leave it up all year!
