I am going to show you how to take a plain chalkboard and turn it into a fabulous Christmas chalkboard calendar!
Many of us own chalkboards and a fun, easy and cheap thing to do is to dress them up for Christmas!
I love creating a fun Christmas feeling in my house using my chalkboard.
Here is one of my chalkboards plain Jane and boring!
We got this and it’s twin at a garage sale!
We used them at my daughters wedding reception It was the 3rd of July so we did a fun hot dog bar! You need to see how amazing they turned out!
Even if you don’t own a chalkboard you can paint a wall area with chalkboard paint like we did with this wall in my sisters kitchen!
Now it’s time to dress it up!
Add a lighted garland and some fun decorations to your garland. Let them hang at different heights.
We used stars and red berries on this one.
Start creating the calendar!
Write a Christmas greeting at the top and then add the dates!
My sister has gorgeous hand writing so she did the writing on this chalkboard calendar wall in her kitchen!
On my Christmas Chalkboard calendar I added a lighted garland with pinecones to the top of this chalkboard.
Then I hung a tree branch from the ceiling using fishing line and push pins.
From the tree branch I hung some sparkly ornaments also using fishing line.
It looks magical!
