Add a bit of rustic charm to your holiday decor with a Pine Cone Christmas Tree! This beautiful tree costs next to nothing to make especially if you have a pine tree in your yard or nearby. Let me step you through how to make one.

Pine Cone Christmas Tree by Craftidly.com

If you are using fresh pine cones (not store-bought), you may want to dry them to remove any sap or bugs. Click over to my website from the link below to get more details on how to do that.

To assemble your tree, make a cone out of cardboard and secure it with tape. Next, hot glue pine cones to your cardboard cone. Start by gluing the largest pine cones to the bottom (as shown above) and work upward.

If needed, use garden (pruning) sheers to cut larger pine cones into pieces to fill spaces and gaps along the way. For more step-by-step details on this project, click the link below to head over to my blog!

Decorate your tree with faux holly berries, bells, small ornaments or just leave it natural!

Love this idea. Since the pine cones come in various sizes, it makes it easy to arrange them. You could also add some cinnamon to the pine cones for a great Christmas smell.
