Hi,
Start with a Tray big enough for your village. Use Model railway items of scenery - made cardboard buildings. You might find something in Projects at top of Hometalk Homepage? Have fun.

Hi! It depends on where you want to put them and how much space you have. You can create a tiered display with a few glass plates and a glass or candlestick between them. I have used Epsom salts for the snow or fiberfill. I find little fairy houses at the store all the time, and paint them a glittery white. You can usually find little houses with the decorative garden stuff. Add some little trees, some decorative stone and enjoy! If you want a contained flat display, try a tray or platter to contain your display. Good luck!
