How can I hang a TV over a gas fireplace?
Not sure if mantel needs to be adjusted before tv is mounted to the wall.
Suggested Project Book
be sure to have a LARGE mantel to deflect the heat.

I think it all comes down to personal preference! You can always hang it and then see if any adjustments need to be made. Best of luck!
