FIRSTLY, LETS GET YOU A SUPPLY LIST:

  • Flower Pot (Dollar Tree)
  • Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Tray (Dollar Tree)
  • Hair Dryer

SECONDLY, LETS GET INTO MAKING THE CRAFT:

You will start this craft by painting the flower pot white. Once you have one coat of paint on the flowerpot, use the blow dryer before adding a second coat of white paint. After you’ve dried the second coat, paint on black detailing to the flowerpot. This will give it a more rustic look. Before finalizing the flower pot, use the blow dryer one last time to ensure everything is dry..

THIRDLY, LETS PUT THE FINISHING TOUCHES ON THIS SIMPLe DIY farmhouse decor tray:

After the paint is dry, take your hot glue and layer it onto the bottom of the pot. You will then place the pot onto the tray, creating your stand. I firmly held the pot to the tray for several seconds to ensure it was secured. Finally, you can decorate your new farmhouse tray.

FINALLY, YOU HAVE MADE a diy farmhouse decor tray:

As seen above, I added some of my patriotic decor to the tray. Once decorated, you now have made a simple farmhouse tray! The options are endless for how this can be decorated and utilized in your home. Very few supplies were needed for this craft and it turned out beautifully. As the seasons change, I will switch out the decor on my farmhouse tray. You could even add this to your kitchen and add some floral and plants. As I said, the options are endless!
