How to Hang a Mirror on a Wall With an Easy Hanging Hack

Step 1: Trace the Mirror then Mark a Level Line

Start by placing your mirror on the wall where you want it to hang. Take a pencil and carefully trace around the entire mirror. This will give you a clear outline of where the mirror will be placed.

Grab your level and draw a straight, level line across the wall. This will serve as your guide to ensure that your mirror hangs perfectly straight.

Step 2: Mark Tape at Mirror Hooks

Locate the mirror hooks on the back of your mirror. Place painter’s tape across the back of the mirror, from hook to hook. Mark the spots where these hooks are, as they will align with the level line.

Carefully remove the painters' tape from the back of the mirror, keeping it flat.

Step 3: Place Tape Across the Level Line

Now, take the piece of painter's tape from the back of the mirror and place it across the level line, making sure the marked points align with the level line. This tape will act as a guide for your drilling.

Step 4: Predrill Holes at Marked Tape
