I made this mirror for our half bath, the board was about 7 or 8 bucs, I had a mirror left over from a failed project, and wifey wanted something different. So here it is! Enjoy, I was going for a simple, shabby chic style here while playing with the live love laugh theme I've seen on so many pieces. I use a 1X4 select Pine Board for the frame, the leftover mirror from another project
LIVE LOVE AND LAUGH in Espanol!
1x4 pine board
it all started with a simple board, I used my router to cut a 1/4 or 1/2' out for the mirror
I used simple butt joinery and glue to assemble the frame
white paint, blue trim, and then a good distressing using steel wool and stain..
I decided to add a small shelf, you never know when you need to put stuff on a shelf

Not to worry Reta, the corners are simple you can buy a mitre box from Lowes or Home Depot comes with a saw and the box and you simply insert the piece you want to cut and slip the saw into the 45' slot and cut the corners each corner once joined makes a 90' degree angle don't be scared give it a try and voila you will have a framed medicine cabine, YouTube has lots of great tutorials
