Take a plain round mirror with a hanging plate at the back. Some disposable wooden spoons, some glue, a piece of card
I forgot to show the products first. But you can see what I have used here.
Firstly cut some of the spoons smaller, you don't have to be precise.
Put the glue on the front of the spoon handle, as the spoon with pink glue in photo. Best to raise the mirror, I used a reel of tape.
Using alternative full spoon then short spoon as in photo, leave the heads showing only.
At this stage leave to dry a while depending on your glue. Mine dried within an hour.
Cut some of the spoons shorter approximately 15, then you need the same in whole spoons.
Arrange around the mirror back. Alternatively short and whole spoons. Put the glue on the handle front (As the pink spoon in the photo) and stick with only the head showing.
Leave to dry approximately an hour.Stick on a circle of card with the square cut out for the hanging plate. This just tidies the back.
Clean mirror and admire your work.
I had to photo it on the table as I didn't want anything reflected in photo.
Suggested materials:
  • Small wooden spoons, round mirror, pinkgrip SF glue. Cardboard.   (I bought glue from Harrison and Dunn in uk)
  • The mirror and spoons were bought from a carboot .   (But you should be able to get from a hardware store)
