you can paint them, decoupage them using napkins, wrapping paper, etc. you can paint and stencil them with patterns it depends on how you want to use them - they can be used in bathrooms, closets etc
Unsure what you want to do but you could stain them and put new handles on them.
You could paint or add a piece of glass to the bottom of them but a picture would be helpful so we can see what you are working with.
You could try a spray paint facelift: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnpBgZNw5zE
Can you post a picture of the trays. We may be able to come up with some great idas. But then can be stained, painted or decoupaged.
Spray painting is the easiest way to makeover anything made of wicker, bamboo, straw etc. And there are so many different types of spray paint these days to match any decor style.
You can paint them, decoupage with napkins, gift wrap, stencils, put ribbons through them and maybe lace.
A photo would be very helpful to see what you are starting with.
How about painting them with a stencil? :)
You can either paint them or stain them.
Are they serving trays that you want to keep using as serving trays? Lots of good suggestions already posted and I can't think of any additional ideas UNLESS you are thinking of using them in some other way such as wall decor, etc.
Decoupage is always pretty. You could use napkins for different seasons and then use the trays accordingly.
Hello. Paint always makes things look better. A brush and paint application might be better than a spray paint. I had spray-painted woven placemats and they tend to become chippy with use. A chalk paint might be recommended.
Are they smooth or not. Smooth you can paste anything you want onto and then seal with Mod podge, If not, Paint!
Lightly sand if rough paint them maybe stencile something cute on them saying flowers
You can decoupage them pretty papers
Loved all the great ideas. Think I will spray paint them and then seal them Maybe even decoupage with some pretty napkin from Tuesday Morning.
Hello Annette, the quickest way to update them is with paint. If your trays have handles, see if you can find new, modern ones to replace the old ones.
I'm painting them all this week.Thank you.
I would paint and stencil them.
Paint some colorful images on the bottoms, and hang them up for wall art.
