I love finding fun ways of using my scrapbook paper to do more than just scrapbook, so I turned the paper into 3D stars and then used them in a farmhouse style home decor piece.
Start by cutting out a ton of stars in scrapbook paper. Pick a thicker paper to help give your star some strength. Add adhesive to the backs of the stars, I used the Xyron Creative Station Lite to make it super fast and easy by making them all stickers!
Fold each star in half to give it a crease and place onto a section of twine.
Add a second creased star next to the first one on one side (3 stars are glued together to make 1 3D star.
Add in your last star to make a complete 3D star. Place 3-4 stars on 1 section of string and tape to your frame for desired effect.
Wind twine around the frame at the top and bottom to secure the sections of string. Glue in place.
Add a thicker twine to the top to help hang your fun star decor. I also added in little feet to the top of the frame to help it sit away from the wall when hanging.
Enjoy your super easy star decor in an upcycled frame!
