These apple pom poms came about because I wanted to make something unique to add to my kids' teacher gifts. They ended up being perfect for not only teacher gifts but for Fall decor, too!
The simple pom poms are made from yarn. I used a bright red and also brown (for the "stems," which I use to hang my pom poms. I also had some dark green paper on-hand that I used to make the leaves.
It took only a few minutes to make each one, and they turned out ridiculously cute. You can see the full tutorial here: http://www.carrieelle.com/diy-teacher-gift-ideas/
I ended up attaching a couple to a chalkboard pencil jar that I made, although these would also be *so* cute strung up in a garland!
