I know I’ve done the guitar straps before. But I’m learning the bass guitar and this strap was a mess. I think it turned out pretty considering what happened.
I found a treble clef I liked and cut it into the strap. The strap is wet here.
I stamped a border and my name.
Working n the staining here. All the stains I’ve had they come from Tandy.
Here is the strap on the bass. I grabbed the wrong stain and it stained dark and so un even. It looked like a piece of wood. So I went with it and added a few more cuts to really make it look like a rustic strap.i painted the name and treble clef silver then went over that with turquoise. The name and treble clef came out nice. I am going to antique it and see if it comes out prettier. More pictures later.
