Breadbox Makeover
4 Materials
I was thrilled with how this old worn breadbox came to life, so am sharing it here. It was another thrift store find. This one I used chalk-like paint for the base, in and outside, and then used Unicorn Spit on the top and edges. Sealed with poly.
I started by taking the broken plastic window out. Totally sanded the entire box inside and out. I used white, green, blue and teal Unicorn Spit by putting one color at a time on the edge, and then dragging it across the surface.
Here's how it looks all painted and sealed with several coats of poly topcoat.
And here's a close-up of the top. I just wanted to share and hope it inspires someone.
