Love to bring a little Spring into my house, without having to cut flowers and change the water daily. So I decided to collect some stuff that I already had, and put a cute project together...and it turned into THIS!!
How cute and easy to use those little $1 bottles that I bought at the Dollar store, for no reason, but they were a DOLLAR, and "I" HAD to have them!! Well, I guess this was the reason!
It ALWAYS starts with pallet boards. Cutting, sanding and staining. I actually put this project on one pallet board, but needed another one on the back to use for the hanger to hang up with . And I liked the way it looked better then just one board. DIMENSION....I love dimension!
I just used silver wire and looped around the tops of the bottle tops, and then took them over the back to secure.
I screwed in those little "eye screw thingys" (my technical name for them) and then tied and twisted the wire around them. I pretty much "eyed" how far each of the bottle should hang, and then tied the wire accordingly.
The (let me get technical again) "eye screw thingys" stuck out to far for me to put the hanger on, which is why I added the second board on back, to hold the hanger. And I loved the way it looked in front too.
This is a close view to show you the two dimensional aspect of it.
One everything was secured, I hung it up and put some "faux" flowers in there to dress it up. How cute and easy, with no maintenance. And I already had all the stuff, which was a win-win~
Here's another look with some different flowers in it. So much you can do with this cute little project, and you don't even need a GREEN THUMB! But hey, can a girl still get a THUMBS UP on this project!!!!!!
