Easy
On a recent trip to I tried to come up with a great project that anyone could do. I love showing unique projects, but isn't is frustrating when you can't recreate that project yourself?
I came up with this idea of turning glass bud vases into distressed candlesticks using just chalk paint and some fine grit sand paper.

Confused....you say to use chalk paint but then mention two colors of paint which neither are chalk paint?

Where do you get candles that long and also all the bud vases have bigger holes do you put putty on the bottom to hold them. I bought a bunch of these at the GW and I am anxious to try them.

Did you paint these black first so when you distressed them, there was something underneath besides glass?

I love your candlesticks, what a terrific way to change ugly glass bottles/candlesticks into these elegant ones. As a big fan of candlesticks this is on my to-do list, thank you.
