DIY Rabbit Moss Art

Easy
Want to add a touch of Spring to your home decor? Then check out this simple, yet chic DIY Rabbit Moss Art. It will add whimsy and style to your home.

Silhouettes, no matter what their subject, are an iconic image that I never tire of. With this project, I decided to break this art form out of it’s black and white box and give it a makeover.

Join me on Monday, March 6th at 5 on Hometalk's Facebook LIVE where I'll be making this and other fun moss projects! Hope to see you there!
Fortunately, I had all of the supplies already on hand which made this a basically free project, but even if you had to purchase the frame, this would still be a very budget friendly craft.

Here’s what you need:
Frame
Sheet Music
Rabbit Silhouette (found here) printed on card stock
Moss “Dust”
Glue (I used ModPodge) + brush
Scissors
Use scissors to carefully cut out your rabbit silhouette.
Brush glue on in sections and immediately coat with moss. Allow to dry.
Using glue (or even double sided tape) attach bunny to sheet music and place in frame. It’s that easy!
You can trim the little extra “fly-away” pieces if you like, I preferred the bit of natural “wildness” they lent to the scene so I left them. I love the whimsy of the bunny running across a field of music!
