This is by far one of the most unique items I have used to make a project. I’d love your thoughts after you see what I did with it. Let's get started!

Materials

All these can be purchased at Dollar Tree:

Rain run offs

Rain gauges

Twine

Rope

White paint and brush

Flowers

Hot glue

I started with a splash block for my gutters. This will be our wall decor backing.

Grab your white paint and brush and dip it in the paint. Lightly paint across the brick. I only did the sides and left the center black.

Next, I used rope and put it though the front and knotted it around the back.

Then I cut off the plastic point of the rain gauge. This will be used as a vase which I’ll attach to the center.

I hot glued it on just above the line and centered it.

I took twine and wrapped it around the stems of the flowers.

Here it is 😊 I think it’s super cute!

I made 2 as a set to hang on the wall. This was really thinking out of the box but for about $8 for a 22” x 10” sconce, it looks great! See more on Gilbert Marketplace on YouTube and Facebook.

So smart. Love the outside of the norm thinking. This is the best post I have seen in a long time on Hometalk. It involves a simple, easy idea that doesn’t require a ton of power tools. Love it!!
