If you are wanting to display photos and original artwork on bathroom walls, I would strongly suggest that you purchase a new exhaust fan. Spending a little more to get one that has sufficient capacity for the sq ft and one that is very efficient at removing the moisture in the room, will help to preserve the wall art. (And, the new fans are so much more quiet as well.)
Here's a good video about how to keep moisture out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJqGglOKmV0
I have photos in frames and art in my bathrooms and have never had a problem with them being damaged from moisture in the room. I think as long as you have a good fan or a window to let the air circulate, you should be fine.
Frames with glass should work. We have some family photos in our bath and they still look the same 10+years later. :)
Liza: I've had good luck getting them printed on canvas.
I just checked... Shutterfly has some smoking deals right now. https://www.shutterfly.com
I would try to take the back off of the frame hot glue all around the glass to seal up the crack between the frame and the glass then put pics inside put the back on and hot glue all around the back cover to seal it .the glue could always be pulled off to change pictures. That should do it
Why not try some artwork that you make? Look up a project like pourable paint to match the color of your bath. I don't believe I have ever seen family photos in a bathroom.
You can get pictures made for very inexpensive that blows up and puts on photo on canvas. Places online like Canvas Champ etc for a very reasonable price. The come framed as well.
