From Old Floor Lamp to New Solar Lights
It depends on how you want to decorate it. It could be repainted or have the shade changed.
you can add a new shade or paint the one you have or add fabric to it - you can paint the floor lamp, you could add new globes to it
it just depends on what you are wanting
It would depend on the style but the first thing I would do is paint if needed, then update the lamp shade.
A new shade can make a huge difference. You can take your lamp to a lighting store and try them on :)
Purchase a new shade and string crystal beads around the edges so they dangle. Make 4" strands and knot. Joanne and Hobby Lobby carry PRE-strung beads. Get a cloth shade so you can stitch the strands on.

Keep in mind that if the pole to the floor lamp is not heavy and sturdy, adding too many decorations to the shade will increase its weight, and may result in the entire lamp becoming very unstable and tippy.
