The dollar section in Target is always fun to look at and they always have fun serving trays. I found a raw wood serving tray and I was so excited to upcycle it for my home!

This is the raw wood serving tray and it has a mirror in the center which I was super excited about!

I painted on Folk Art Home Decor Wood Tint in the color Walnut with my Plaid paint brush.

After painting each section until it was fully covered,I let it sit for 30 seconds or more, and I wiped excess off with a old rag cloth.

I let it dry completely and I love how it brought out the texture of in the wood. I am so in love with this stain and the best part is that it's water based!

I left it as is, and you could put a top coat on if you like to protect it.
