I got a new frame and I needed some artwork for it as soon as possible. I hate leaving frames empty, because I know personally that if I do, there is a slim chance that that frame will ever hold anything at all. So, I knew I needed some artwork, even if it was just temporary, so that this frame could find a home within my house! Follow along as I make a quick and simple DIY print that anyone can do, even if you don't own a paintbrush! If you also miss finger paints, this DIY is for you!

You won't need many materials for this simple DIY! Just grab some scissors, some paper (the thicker the better - I actually used a cut up poster board) and some paint in the color of your choice. I went with something neutral.

First, you'll want to measure and cut your paper to size to fit your frame.

Then, you will need to pour out your paint onto a flat surface. Trust me, it will make this process so much easier for you! Once you do, stick your thumb into that paint!

Press your thumb onto your paper and continue down the line until you run out of paint. The goal for this look is to showcase the different levels of paint, so have fun with it!

Keep going until you cover your entire piece of paper. I did mine in horizontal lines, but you can use that effect in any way, shape, or pattern you like.

Wait for your print to dry and put it in your frame! You're ready to enjoy your DIY Adult Finger Paint Print! Who said that finger paint couldn't be modern and beautiful?! This idea was based off of someone doing this to their wallpaper, so this technique is interchangeable and you're only limited by your imagination! I hope you enjoyed and I cannot wait to see what you create with this!
