Don't you love the look of Industrial Shelves that are so popular now? Today I'll show you how to make your own!
To start, you'll need:

4 - 3/4" x 10" pipes

4 - 3/4" galvanized caps

10" x 8' Douglas Fir, Cut down to size

Oil Rubbed Bronze Spray Paint
Step 1: Screw the pipes into the floor flanges, and spray paint all the parts so they're the same color.
Step 2: While the pipe parts are drying, stain the wood.
I applied Special Walnut from Minwax with a foam brush to get the medium brown color I wanted on the wood.
Step 3: When everything is dry, install the floor flanges. My husband used wall anchors and heavy duty screws because the Douglas Fir shelves are really heavy!
Attach the galvanized caps to the pipes and screw them into the flanges. Here is what it looks like when they are put together.
This project was so simple, but isn't the end result beautiful?!
