ok, so I'll just TAKE that Fall Decor Challenge and show you a twist on all those "Happy Fall Y'all" and "Harvest" signs..and make one for my neck of the woods. Any hunter would LOVE to have this standing outside their doorway. Letters meant to blend into sign for that CAMO look, along with the green and orange hunter colors!!! So go ahead, FALL INTO CAMO SEASON all you hunters!
Took apart a LONG pallet board and sanded down the wood. Then I poured in all different directions, Green, Orange and Yellow chalk paint. I took my hands, got down and dirty, and swirled it all over to give the CAMO look.
I then used a stencil I made from My Silhouette Cameo, and put it on the wood, and painted in the lettering. I used orange paint first and then put some white paint on top just to see the letters a little better. They were WAY TO CAMO in orange.
Took off the stencil, distressed it a bit with sandpaper, and put a topcoat on to seal it for outdoors. I'm LOVING my twist on the Fall signs!
