Hi there, a hutch might be nice in your entryway.
obviously it depends on your style and size. A fabulous breakfront or cupboard with glass doors and a few special object d’art inside. These pieces are usually shallow, so don’t take up walking space. If there’s space, a pair of beautiful, interesting (Elizabethan, whatever) chairs on either side with great mirrors or paintings over them.
Alternately , a spectacular large rug, a simple bench in front or beneath it. The rug, be it oriental or Native American, or even “ragg”, hung on the wall can be breathtaking. I’m talking about 5’ x 7’ rug if your wall can handle it. There are plenty of instructions out there about hanging rugs on a pole, so as not to damage them forever.
Small live tree. Mini orange tree smells good. Palm looks good all year.
Coat rack is nice to match you table, large mirror or picture, flowers, umbrella stand...might send picture so we can see size!
Kinda depends on how large your entry way is if you can do something grand..... but most of the grand houses I've been in use a beautiful oriental carpet, or marquetry floor or beautiful tile with a round table in the center and a huge floral arrangement.... https://www.google.com/search?q=pictures+of+a+grand+house+entry+way&client=opera&hs=ZR9&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwixod-owPfZAhUFLmMKHbnVA88Q7AkISg&biw=1205&bih=574
An antique bench or settee, a huge mirror, a well-chosen chandelier, and a heavy rug is one way to go. ☺️
