I don't think there's a fix for this. It looks like replacement of the damaged boards is in order.Helpful Reply -

You can add a security screen door with some sort of nice iron scrollwork or design.Helpful Reply -

Laminate flooring that swells due to moisture should be disassembled and new pieces installed. To do this, remove the baseboard or quarter round and then take the flooring apart one row at a time until you reach the swollen section of flooring. Stack the planks in order of removal to make cutting easier if it will be necessary. You can cut the new boards using the damaged pieces as a guide. Replace the damaged boards with boards from the outer edge of your original flooring and then replace the outer boards with new boards that have been allowed to acclimate in the room for at least 72 hours. In older installations, doing this limits the chances a new board might stand out because it has no wear or discoloration as older boards tend to have.Helpful Reply -

If this is a laminate on an MDF or ply backing it looks like it is ruined. Probably best to get new and get a waterproof one or just don't get your floor so wet. no good for bathrooms. If you have this much water about you would do better to get vinylHelpful Reply -

Yes it can be fixed (if you are on a budget/or next a quick). They sell a gel stain from 1/2 pint $8 to fix the rough edges or $16 a quart.Helpful Reply -
