If you want the door to stand out, red is always nice. If you want drama then you could go bold with black and if you just want a nice, clean look then white would be nice too!

If you look at today's postings, the little blue cottage has your answer. A deeper blue for the door. It looks terrific.

I would paint it white same color as the trim or you might go a little darker blue color. Good luck!

You can never go wrong with a deep red or cranberry colored door. It will pop with the white trim and looks good in every season with a pretty wreath.

Red door is bad debt shui if your house doesn't face the right direction. Google it. And find out what the right color for that direction. But I'm kinda leaning towards yellow. Not lemony, somewhere between butter and gold.
