It has been 7 years since we had bought our current house from which we are running a B&B.
Seven years back we completely renovated everything : 6 bathrooms 6 bedrooms, 3 living rooms and one kitchen and the other one we added a new granite counter top, new appliances, new backsplash, new sink , new faucet, new wall paint, new lamps, new hardware ..... actually everything except the golden oak cabinetry. The cabinets were such great workmanship custom made and all real solid oak. We just could not bring us to that decision to rip them all out and destroy them.
After 7 years of living with them we finally made the decision to get them reglazed in a light gray .
We are very happy with our decision but have to get the walls repainted because the light light greenish walls make the kitchen cabinets now look somehow greenish instead of the gray we had chosen.

We are super happy with the result. It looks like it belongs now into this decade :D
