Painting your dated and worn cabinets is a sure fire successful makeover! Revamp your kitchen for under $200!!
Before!
I started by sanding and priming. I chose a cabinet paint from Valspar at Lowe's.
After!
I had to do two coats of primer and three coats of paint to achieve the sparkly white I wanted...but I love the results!
We took down a cabinet, added open shelving.
We changed out the faucet to farmhouse style one and added wooden blinds.
New faucet!
I cleaned up my mess and now we have a new kitchen!

If you've wondered about painting your cabinets I'd say go for it! It took me about three weeks, I set up a paint station in the garage and just wrapped my paint brushes each night in a plastic bag stored in the refrigerator so I didn't need to wash them every night.

Make sure to number your doors and drawers to ensure they'll fit when you're finished.

This has been my favorite DIY project to date!
