Modern Buffet to Entertainment Unit

For ages I've wanted a large buffet to go in the living room and I wanted it to match my beachy decor!
I bought this Ikea beauty off a local Facebook page for $120. I knew exactly where it was going but I had no idea what I would do with it!
A coat of primer and inspiration struck! I started to paint the drawers and door different colours to match my beachy theme.
The body of the buffet was painted white and I used the original hardware.
The edges were distressed very subtly. Then I waxed the whole piece for protection.
And its now used as our entertainment centre!
I love the modern, colour blocked yet beachy look and it's so perfect in our living room.
