And because you choose your own paint (any latex paint works), you choose your colors! I Chalk-tiqued my kitchen cabinets with an antique white, and the island with a barn red.
Lightly distressed, and then one coat of dark wax gives an antique look to these 1980's oak cabinets and drawers.
Get creative! With The Chalk-tique Paint Additive you make up a little Chalk-tique Paint or a lot, depending on your project. Look at this cute kitchen storage made out of pallets. For the paint, Moore Finishes Art Studio simply added Chalk-tique to paint sample jars!

Julie Crozier on Sep 25, 2015Hi Barb! I painted my kitchen a year ago, and it is still holding up great! I have 5 teenagers, can't get much busier than that. I did apply one more coat of wax recently around the sink area, because of the extra moister. Cleaning does not take off the wax, once it is dried and buffed.
