How do I get the most usable storage in kitchen cabinets and pantry?
I have a VERY inefficient kitchen with no storage. I'm ready to try anything to get storage in my cabinets and access to my extremely small pantry. With Thanksgiving and Christmas season upon me I need HELP!

This may not work for you but I turned our coat closet into a pantry. I too have little kitchen storage. It was a big help.

Hi Shannon - We have a large kitchen but an awkward layout that does not allow for a lot of storage. Here are some great ideas you can use too. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

Hi, Shannon,
Can you post photos? They may garner more advice for your specific situation.
Tiered plastic bins are great for maximizing cabinet space where spices in similar sized containers can be placed, according to frequency of use.
Infrequently used items can be stored on upper shelves, in airtight, same sized containers.
Bowls, mixing spoons, measuring glass items can be stacked inside one another, using waxed paper between fragile items to avoid rubbing.
Waxed paper, plastic wrap can be stored vertically on a rack behind a base cabinet, as necessary.
I use clear bins where I can so I can see what is in them. I stack cans on top of each other against the wall. I bought plastic containers from the dollar store. I saved my old refrigerator bins and baskets and use them in the pantry.
Take a look at what you have and see if you have duplicates, if so, donate or put elsewhere in storage. Or if you have something that can multitask, keep that.
Pots and pans can hang from the ceiling or from a board on a wall. You can also put a rail under the upper cupboard and hang cups...anything with a handle.
Thank you for all of the great suggestions and ideas. Wish me luck!
