I put a bunch of plastic bags into one big plastic bag and tie a knot in it. We get so many bags that we can't reuse them all. Most stores have a bin in front by their door where you can bring back the bags and they recycle (?) them. I have put a big bag of plastic bags in the recycle bin for our garbage collector to pick up. The ones I keep are stored in the laundry room closet in a big plastic waste basket.
