Do you have space to place a bakers rack or kitchen island or freestanding pantry? Maybe you could send a picture. Thanks
Ikea.... Best ideas and items ever for increasing storage and getting excess off the counter. That let's you maximize counter areas for prep. Magnetic knife strip, rails for hanging cups and utensils, cutting boards to cover your sink.... Etc. Even if you don't have one nearby, visit their website for ideas.
Hello Honey! My kitchen has very little counterspace, too. What has really helped to declutter my counters is to have undercabinet appliances. I have an undercabinet toaster oven and an undercabinet coffee maker. I’ve also installed hooks under one of the cabinets to hang my coffee cups. Good luck!
Do you have room for an island? A friend of mine made her own from and old cabinet. She painted it, put wheels on it, and hooks on the side for utensils and a handle for a towel. If you are limited in space, like me, I put wheels on mine to move it out of the way when not in use. Hope this helps.
My cousin has a VERY small kitchen. They put a wooden bar-height table on rollers (that lock) and push it into a corner when not in use. Very similar to the idea above! The bar stools that go with it have no backs and can be pushed under the table out of the way.
Get one of those cutting boards that fits over the sink... https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_1_20?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=over-the-sink+cutting+board&sprefix=over-the-sink+cuttin%2Caps%2C231&crid=3ECKDKN2IRQI1&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Aover-the-sink+cutting+board
Add a thin console table to one side of a galley kitchen, or a rolling island if possible for another prep area.
My kitchen is 9 x 9.5 ft. and I have purged lots of things and try to make one item work for two or three jobs, i.e., cooking utensils, china, silverware. It is remarkable the amount of things we think we need to function in life. Ain't so.
