Renewing Boring Garage Steps
After seeing my friends garage steps, I knew I had to do mine. I don't normally care what the garage looks like, but since most friends and neighbors come in to the house through the garage, I thought I'd pretty them up a bit. The product I used came from Lowes. It's called "Rescue It" by Olympic. Love it!
I just brushed off the dirt and cobwebs before starting.
Two coats of "Rescue It" on the steps and railing.
The back, or vertical part of the steps were painted a semi-gloss white. It took 3 coats, since I did not prime first.
The before and after. Why I never did something to the steps before is beyond me! :)
