How to Make a Fairy Garden That is Easy and Inexpensive

Every home should have a fairy garden! These whimsical little homes will bring out your inner child's imagination, and little ones will love it! Don't break the bank buying everything! Do your own house and accessories with things you have around the house and yard!
There are all kinds of pre made options you can buy on the market but how fun is that? Go for a walk in your yard and a scavenger hunt in your left over craft supplies for inspiration for your Fairy Garden.
Here is a big tip!
I began by painting the birdhouse and then using a combination of hot glue and e6000 I started layering on items to add decoration, texture and color. I made a simple door with wood shapes and a rock doorknob.
After building my house I decided to make a village in a wine crate. I started placing my houses first and then added a couple succulents to represent trees. Then I just began filling in the rest of the village. I love that I can move my village around to different places in my yard when I want.
Every fairy village needs places to set and enjoy the beauty of nature so of course I had to make some accessories for my little fairies.
