Industrial Plant Pots “Jersey Girl Knows Best”

Do you love the industrial look and also love to recycle things! Well, I have the perfect project for you! Turn your big box store empty coffee cans into industrial plant pots! It’s so easy and cheap! Ready?! Let’s do this!🪴

Edit: I recommend coating the tin cans in a clear coat or painting them. I’ve had mine outside for 2 weeks and they are starting to rust….so I guess they are industrial chic now😆

Here are my giant coffee cans! They are 48 oz. I love using what I have on hand 🤗

So there is some drainage in these industrial plant pots, I create some holes in the bottom using a finishing nail and a hammer! Time to get to work! 🔨 💪🏻

I added about 14 holes, but you can add more or less depending on your preference. I wish I had a larger nail to make bigger holes, but I think this will work out just fine!

I used some leftover potting soil and filled these big cans up!

I am so glad I had enough soil for these 😆

I planted some mint that I got from my Moms garden, she has it growing all over the place in her herb garden. Mint grows like a weed and it’s best to put it in a pot…if not it may over take your other plants! I hope you enjoyed this project! See you all next time! Plant, Grow, Bloom 🪴
