These gazebo rails were headed for the landfill but I had a purpose for them. I needed a privacy screen & these rails were perfect for my project.
I took a wire brush and scraped off the rust & chips.
I then sprayed painted each panel with black Rust-Oleum paint.
I had these metal flower baskets and sprayed painted them black to match the rails. Any containers will do.
Instead of drilling holes into the rails, I used thin black crafts metal wire which I bought at the dollar store to secure the rails to the wooden fence.
I then used hooks which I bought at the dollar store to hang the baskets to the rails.
I used weed liner in the baskets and then added my favourite blooms. I used these rails for privacy however you can use them anywhere to create a lovely art accent pieces.
I had 2 butterfly metal art which i bought at the dollar store & painted them and added them to the rail for extra flair.

Your finished project; your rails are totally different from the ones that you first showed at the beginning. I was wondering what you were going to do with all that empty space?
