vinegar and Dawn dish soap in a spray container. Do it on a sunny day. It will show results in one day.
I have had the same problem for years and tried everything, nearly ruining my lawn more than once. This year I used Scott's liquid weed killer, which kills the weeds, but not the grass. Low and behold, the creeping charlie died along with all the other weeds. No other product I ever tried worked. Now, my lawn looks great!
